We went up to Estes Park this weekend.  Jeremy and I had never really been up there before, so we got to explore a new area.  We went to the National Park, and were really surprised by how many people were there.  We had to park at the farthest parking lot and be bused into Bear Lake.  We walked around Bear Lake, and then decided to do the hike up to Emerald Lake (i think it was called).  There were 2 other lakes on the way to Emerald Lake, and they were all gorgeous.  We just got pictures on our disposal camera b/c we couldn't find our battery charger for the digital one, but it was beautiful.  We must be really out of shape too, b/c the hike seemed pretty tough, and we are acclimated to the altitude.  I was surprised by how many tourists made it to the top.  Hopefully this trip will inspire us to start hiking around here more, b/c i'm sure there's many other beautiful places we can hike to around here!

I posted pics of our redecorated living room on home and gardens website.  People rate them and give you suggestions.  Check it out and let me know what you think:

Well, i finally started scrap-booking our trip from last summer this weekend.  I have only made it through about 5 days and it took me all day yesterday to do!!  Jeremy kept a travelogue and had an entry for every single day we were gone so i decided to type them up and then incorporate those and our emails we sent home into our photo album so we could remember what happened on our trip.  It was kind of fun to go back and read through all of the entries and remember each day.  But i have a feeling it is going to take me forever to go  through everything and put it all together!  Not to mention we still haven't printed any wedding pictures!

Other than that we just ran a bunch of errands this weekend, and i got some new lamps and pillows for the living room.  It's looking pretty good, we have a couple of things left i want to do, and then i'll post some pictures.

Jeremy got home late last night and I decided to try a new recipe.  I have tried a couple of things off of this site 101cookbooks.com and everything i've tried has been really good.  The lady who writes it is a vegetarian, so most of the food in it is vegetarian but she often throws in food that chicken or meat can be added too.  I've tried the guacamole recipe, and the garlic bread recipe both of which were delicious.  But last night i tried her recipe on how to make homemade gnochhi and how to make homemade pesto.  I started about 6:00 boiling the potatos and then made the pesto while they were boiling.  I finished by making the gnochhi, a salad, and sauteed some artichokes in olive oil to have with it.  It took about 2 hours end to end but was definitely worth it and it came out great for the first try.  I thought i'd share the recipe, it was so good, we both loved it and are having leftovers of it tonight...

You should try it if you have the time!  My gnocchi were a little to sticky but i found that after i rolled them into the long thin strips, if i sprinkled more flour on and kept rolling them the consistency was better.

I thought i'd jump on Amy's blog bandwagon because mostly because i'm bored, and this will give me something to do, and it also just might inspire someone else to write something for me to read.

Jeremy just got what we think is going to be an awesome new job at me.dium in Boulder.  You should go check it out, it's kind of myspace meets instant messanger meets search engine.  You download a sidebar and then you can see what your friends are looking at when you are both on the internet... you can also chat with your friends in the sidebar.  The website to download is http://me.dium.com  so check it out.  Jeremy is going to be a project manager there but may have some influencing over the product if you guys come up with any good ideas.

We went to see Ocean's 13 a couple of nights ago which I liked better than Ocean's 12 and maybe Ocean's 11.  I really had trouble following the plot in 12 but 13 was a lot clearer in the story line I thought, I don't love those movies but it was more entertaining than I thought it would be, I did find it amusing that there was only 1 semi-main female character in it.  Other than that all men.

Well I hope everyone has a good 4th of July... they are letting me off early here so i'm on my way home, hooray!!!
